POSCO (previously Pohang Iron and Steel Company) is a South Korean steel-production organization headquartered in Pohang, South Korea. It had a yield of 42 million tons of rough steel in 2015, making it the world’s fourth-biggest steelmaker by this measure. In 2010, it was the world’s biggest steel-producing organization by market value. Likewise, in 2012, it was named as the 146th world’s biggest enterprises by the Fortune worldwide 500.
POSCO as of now works two coordinated steel processes in South Korea, in Pohang and Gwangyang. POSCO works a joint endeavor with U.S. Steel, USS-POSCO, which is located in Pittsburg, California, United States.
