Making YBCO Superconductor

Yttrium barium copper oxide (YBCO) is a group of crystalline chemical compounds, popular for showing high-temperature superconductivity. It incorporates the primary material at any point found to become superconducting over the boiling point of fluid nitrogen (77 K) at around 92 K.

Numerous YBCO mixes have the general equation YBa2Cu3O7−x (otherwise called Y123), in spite of the fact that materials with other Y:Ba:Cu proportions exist, for example, YBa2Cu4Oy (Y124) or Y2Ba4Cu7Oy (Y247). At present, there is no independently perceived hypothesis for high-temperature superconductivity.
